   • Baiyun Cableway: 25 CNY uphill one-way, 20 CNY downhill one-way (Operating hours: 09:00–17:00).

Section 1: South Gate Trailhead to Forest Canopy

Entering from the South Gate, a gentle road leads uphill under dense green foliage. If you want to conserve energy for the summit, the Baiyun Cableway provides a scenic flight directly to Peak Park. For hikers, the shaded road offers cool breezes and refreshing mountain streams along the path.

Section 2: Peak Park & The Historical Evening Lookout

After about 45 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Peak Park near Mingchun Valley. Here, the "Baiyun Evening View" terrace has been famous since the Yuan Dynasty as one of the Eight Sights of Guangzhou, providing sweeping vistas across the older historical districts of the city.

Section 3: Summit Climb to Moxing Ridge

Continuing north from Peak Park for 15 minutes brings you to the gate of Moxing Ridge. Once inside, stone steps wind through fragrant eucalyptus and banyan trees decorated with classical poetry inscriptions.

At the summit marker indicating "382 meters above sea level", the panorama opens dramatically: rolling mountain ridgelines to the north and the striking modern metropolis of Tianhe and the Canton Tower to the south. Arriving in late afternoon allows you to watch the golden sunset give way to Guangzhou's glittering night skyline.

1. Comfortable Footwear: The stone stairways and asphalt paths are well-paved, but lightweight sports or walking shoes are strongly recommended.
